In Friday's non-league match, the Marion Black Knights (Marion, NY) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Black Knights encounter the Williamson Marauders (Williamson, NY) in a Section 5 Wayne County battle, on Tuesday, September 9. Marion will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Marauders go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lyons (Lyons, NY).

The Red Raiders now own a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Clyde-Savannah for a non-league contest on Monday, September 8.
