California High School Volleyball - WISH Academy bounced by Math & Science College Preparatory
September 5, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90018 Math & Science College Preparatory Sharks (Los Angeles, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting WISH Academy Owls (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Math & Science College Preparatory improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Sharks travel to Stella High Charter Academy (Los Angeles, CA) to face the Eagles in a Crosstown test on Monday, September 8. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Owls now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Marquez for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 8. WISH Academy will meet a Gladiators team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Chatsworth (Chatsworth, CA). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-6.
