With the win, Metro Christian improves its record to 14-0 on the season. The Patriots host North Rock Creek (Shawnee, OK) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Cardinals now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coweta for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. Verdigris will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Metro Christian (Tulsa, OK). The Tigers record now stands at 6-13.
