In Tuesday's league contest, the Albemarle School Colts (Elizabeth City, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Ridgecroft Rams (Ahoskie, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Colts battle the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a NCISAA Tarheel Independent contest, on Thursday, September 8. Albemarle School will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Terra Ceia Christian (Pantego, NC).

With the loss, Ridgecroft moves to 0-3 on the year. The Rams travel to Pungo Christian Academy (Belhaven, NC) to battle the Raiders in a NCISAA Tarheel Independent contest on Thursday, September 8. The Raiders go into the contest with a record of 10-4. Pungo Christian Academy won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Northeast Academy (Lasker, NC)
