Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban match, on Thursday, September 7. Blue Island Eisenhower will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
