The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) and the host McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY), witnessed Grayson County's football squad topple McLean County by a tally of 14-6.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Butler County (Morgantown, KY). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Butler County was outscored by Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY), 17-14, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Cougars confront the Hancock County Hornets (Lewisport, KY) in a 3A District 1 contest, on Friday, September 13. McLean County will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
