September 6, 2024: Waukee, IA 50263 Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Northwest Wolves (Waukee, IA), 40-29 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Waukee improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Warriors host Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA) to play the Stars in a non-league battle on Friday, September 13. The Stars go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Sioux City North lost 28-8 in their recent non-league battle against Le Mars (Le Mars, IA)
The Wolves now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 12. Northwest will play a Roughriders team coming off a 50-28 non-league loss to Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Roughriders record now stands at 1-1.
