The Richlands Blue Tornado football team (Richlands, VA), was crushed 53-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA)

With the win, Union advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Bears travel to Science Hill (Johnson City, TN) to encounter the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Friday, September 13. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Science Hill won 20-14 in their recent league bout against Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN)
