Virginia High School Football - Ridgeview loses to Union

Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Ridgeview Wolfpack (Clintwood, VA), 31-7 in a league battle.

With the win, Union advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Bears host Central Wise (Norton, VA) to battle the Warriors in a Mountain contest on Friday, October 18. The Warriors enter the contest with a record of 2-3. Central Wise won 42-6 in their recent league contest against John Battle (Bristol, VA)

Coming up next, the Wolfpack battle the John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA) in a Mountain contest, on Friday, October 18. Ridgeview will attempt to better on its 6-1 season record. The Trojans enter the contest with a 0-6 record after their 42-6 league loss to Central Wise (Norton, VA).
