Seneca Bobcats (Erie, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Union City Bears (Union City, PA), 40-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Seneca advances its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Mercyhurst Prep (Erie, PA) to play the Lakers in a District 10 Region 3 battle on Friday, September 13. The Lakers go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Mercyhurst Prep won 28-7 in their recent league battle against Northwestern (Albion, PA)

The Bears now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Iroquois for a District 10 Region 3 battle on Friday, September 13. Union City will play a Braves team coming off a 7-0 league loss to Eisenhower (Russell, PA). The Braves record now stands at 1-2.
