September 6, 2024: Springfield, MA 01105 Taconic Thunder (Pittsfield, MA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Commerce Red Raiders (Springfield, MA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Taconic moves its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Thunder host Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, September 7. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Red Raiders now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ware for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Commerce will clash with a Indians team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Hoosac Valley (Cheshire, MA). The Indians record now stands at 0-1.
