The Independence Falcons volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Kennedy Thunderbirds to 0 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now possess a 12-2 record. They play next when they host Stockdale for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 10. Independence will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Buchanan (Clovis, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-4.
