In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Thousand Oaks Lancers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Marshall Barristers.

The Lancers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA). The Cowboys come into the non-league challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Canyon edged Hart (Newhall, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
