New Mexico High School Football - Las Cruces loses to Centennial
September 6, 2025: Las Cruces, NM 88001 Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) followers went home pleased Saturday as they observed their football squad top the host Las Cruces Bulldawgs (Las Cruces, NM), 19-6 in a non-league test.
The Hawks now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. Centennial will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 20-7 non-league loss to Del Valle (El Paso, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Las Cruces drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bulldawgs host Deming (Deming, NM) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Deming won 21-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM)
