September 6, 2025: Carol Stream, IL 60188 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Leyden Eagles (Franklin Park, IL) and the host Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL), saw Leyden's soccer squad hold off Glenbard North by a count of 3-2.
The Eagles (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Park (Chicago, IL). The Lions enter the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Lincoln Park tipped Niles North (Skokie, IL), 5-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers battle the Geneva Vikings (Geneva, IL) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 8. Glenbard North will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Larkin (Elgin, IL).
