Colorado High School Softball - Palmer Ridge bounces Discovery Canyon
September 6, 2025: Colorado Springs, CO 80921 The Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) softball routed the host Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO), 10-3 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Bears now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lamar for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Palmer Ridge will encounter a Thunder team coming off a 11-1 league loss to La Junta (La Junta, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Discovery Canyon moves to 1-3 on the season. The Thunder host Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league test on Monday, September 8. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 1-2. Elizabeth lost 7-2 in their recent non-league test against Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO)
