September 6, 2025: Bernalillo, NM 87004 Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Ruidoso Warriors (Ruidoso, NM), 5-2 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Bernalillo moves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Spartans host Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to confront the Elks/Elkettes in a non-league outing on Monday, September 8. The Elks/Elkettes go into the outing with a record of 0-4. Pojoaque Valley lost 5-0 in their recent non-league outing against Tierra Encantada (Santa Fe, NM)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Ruidoso will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Clovis (Clovis, NM).
