Michigan High School Soccer - Sault Area toppled by Houghton
September 6, 2025: Houghton, MI 49931 Houghton Gremlins (Houghton, MI) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sault Area Blue Devils (Sault St. Marie, MI), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Houghton moves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Gremlins travel to Marquette (Marquette, MI) to clash with the Sentinels in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. The Sentinels come into the test with a record of 7-2. Marquette won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI)
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Kingsford Flivvers (Kingsford, MI) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 9. Sault Area will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Flivvers go into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Seymour (Seymour, WI).
