West Virginia High School Soccer - Wheeling Park nudged by Hurricane
September 6, 2025: Wheeling, WV 26003 Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hurricane moves its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Riverside (Belle, WV) to confront the Warriors in a Mountain State outing on Tuesday, September 9. The Warriors go into the outing with a record of 1-3. Riverside 2-2 in their recent league outing against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)
Next up, the Patriots confront the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) in a Two Rivers test, on Thursday, September 11. Wheeling Park will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record.
