Newton Braves (Newton, NJ) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Newton advances its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Braves host Dover (Dover, NJ) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-0. Dover won 4-2 in their recent non-league outing against Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ)

Next up, the Falcons play the Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Freedom outing, on Wednesday, September 10.
