Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE) fans exited the stadium satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their softball team tip the host Auburn Bulldogs (Auburn, NE), 5-4 in a non-league match.

The Mustangs (6-7) will now prepare for their match against Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE). The Pioneers come into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Nebraska City nipped Syracuse (Syracuse, NE), 14-6, in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs now hold a 10-5 record. They play next when they travel to Plattsmouth for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. Auburn will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Omaha North (Omaha, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-7.
