The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Raymond Central Mustangs (Raymond, NE) and the visiting Cass Wildcats (Louisville, NE), saw Raymond Central's softball squad nip Cass by a score of 8-3.

With the triumph, Raymond Central improves its record to 10-11 on the year. The Mustangs host Platteview (Springfield, NE) to battle the Trojans in a non-league bout on Monday, September 29. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 15-9. Platteview lost 6-3 in their recent non-league contest against Ralston (Ralston, NE)

The Wildcats now hold a 6-17 record. They play next when they host Logan View/Scribner-Snyder for a C District contest on Tuesday, September 30. Cass will battle a team coming off a 7-4 league win over Syracuse (Syracuse, NE). The record now stands at 16-8.
