The Nebraska City Pioneers softball team scored 12 runs and held the host Plattsmouth Blue Devils to 3 in the Pioneers non-league win on Saturday.

The Pioneers now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Syracuse for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Nebraska City will encounter a Rockets team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Centennial (Utica, NE). The Rockets record now stands at 1-8.

With the defeat, Plattsmouth drops to 7-9 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Auburn (Auburn, NE) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6.
