September 6, 2025: Wayland, MI 49348 The Wayland Wildcats volleyball squad (Wayland, MI), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting East Kentwood Falcons (Kentwood, MI)
The Falcons (2-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Grandville (Grandville, MI). The Bulldogs come into the Ottawa-Kent - Red challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Grandville was nudged by Mona Shores (Norton Shores, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats meet the Lakewood Vikings (Lake Odessa, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Wayland will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Vikings go into the test with a 8-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI).
