The River Valley Vikings volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host East Knox Bulldogs to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Vikings now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they host Clear Fork for a Mid-Ohio Athletic outing on Tuesday, September 9. River Valley will play a Colts team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH). The Colts record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, East Knox drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Crestview (Ashland, OH) to play the Cougars in a non-league outing on Sunday, September 7.
