The Mt. Zion Braves volleyball squad (Mt. Zion, IL), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL)

With the win, Edwards County improves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Fairfield (Fairfield, IL) to meet the Mules in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 6. The Mules enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Fairfield won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Wayne City (Wayne City, IL)

Next, the Braves meet the Oblong/Hutsonville/Palestine (Oblong, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 6. Mt. Zion will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record.
