The Evergreen Park Mustangs volleyball team (Evergreen Park, IL), was beaten 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL)

The Grizzlies (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Dolphins enter the Chicago Public Super contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, Whitney Young beat Hancock (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) in a South Suburban test, on Tuesday, September 9. Evergreen Park will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Lemont HS go into the test with a 5-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL).
