South Carolina High School Volleyball - First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest can't get by Woodmont

Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest Crusaders (Greenville, SC), 2-1 in a non-league outing.

The Wildcats now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Woodruff for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. Woodmont will play a Wolverines team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Laurens (Laurens, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest drops to 9-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Pickens (Pickens, SC) to play the Blue Flame in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 6. The Blue Flame come into the outing with a record of 7-0. Pickens won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Berea (Greenville, SC)
