In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Greenway Raiders volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the North Woods grizzlies.

The Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Walker-Hackensack-Akeley (Walker, MN). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Walker-Hackensack-Akeley nudged Cass Lake-Bena (Cass Lake, MN), 3-0, in a league test.

The grizzlies now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mora for a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. North Woods will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
