September 6, 2025: Battle Creek, MI 49015 The Lakeview Spartans edged the visiting St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Spartans play the Central Bearcats (Battle Creek, MI) in a Southwest Michigan - East outing, on Saturday, September 6. Lakeview will attempt to improve on its 11-3 season record.
The Fighting Tigers now own a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bellevue for a Southern Central challenge on Tuesday, September 9. St. Philip Catholic Central will meet a Broncos team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Athens (Athens, MI). The Broncos record now stands at 1-4.
