The Red Bluff Spartans beat the visiting Las Plumas Thunderbirds volleyball team by a tally of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Spartans now have a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oroville for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 9. Red Bluff will play a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Gridley (Gridley, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-9.

With the loss, Las Plumas drops to 2-12 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Enterprise (Redding, CA) to confront the Hornets in a non-league game on Thursday, September 11.
