In Saturday's non-league bout, the Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA), by a margin of 2-0.

The Owls now possess a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Mammoth for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 6. Oakwood will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lee Vining (Lee Vining, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-1.
