September 6, 2025: Bicknell, UT 84715 Wayne Badgers (Bicknell, UT) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Monticello Buckaroo (Monticello, UT), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Wayne improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Badgers host Valley (Orderville, UT) to meet the Buffalos in a 1A Region 20 challenge on Wednesday, September 10. The Buffalos come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Valley lost 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Millard (Fillmore, UT)
Next, the Buckaroo meet the Green River Pirates (Green River, UT) in a 1A Region 19 challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. Monticello will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT).
