September 6, 2025: Aurora, CO 80012 Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Overland Trailblazers (Aurora, CO), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Smoky Hill improves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to George Washington (Denver, CO) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 2-0. George Washington won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Aurora Central (Aurora, CO)
The Trailblazers now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vista PEAK Prep for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 9. Overland will face a Bison squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Mountain Range (Westminster, CO). The Bison record now stands at 3-1.
