September 7, 2022: Frostburg, MD 21532 In Wednesday's non-league game, the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) football team knocked off the visiting Northern Huskies (Accident, MD), by a score of 40-24.
The Miners (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Williamsport (Williamsport, MD). The Wildcats come into the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
The Huskies now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Petersburg for a non-league game on Monday, September 12. Northern will battle a Vikings team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Hampshire (Romney, WV). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
