September 7, 2022: Fayetteville, GA 30214 Whitewater Wildcats (Fayetteville, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), 6-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 13-0 record. They take the field next when they host Jackson for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 8. Whitewater will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Pike County (Zebulon, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Pike County falls to 7-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA) to face the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 12. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 3-4. Strong Rock Christian won 1-0 in their recent league challenge against Brookstone (Columbus, GA)
