September 7, 2023: Richmond, VA 23236 The L.C. Bird Skyhawks volleyball team (Chesterfield, VA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Monacan Chiefs (Richmond, VA)
The Chiefs (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA). The Colonials go into the non-league outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Colonial Heights was topped by Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
The Skyhawks now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Clover Hill for a Dominion outing on Thursday, September 14. L.C. Bird will encounter a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-2 league win over James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-3.
