Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks confront the Page Pirates (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Northern Guilford will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 3-3 non-league Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Eagles now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Davie for a Central Piedmont 4A challenge on Monday, September 11. East Forsyth will confront a War Eagles team coming off a 4-0 league loss to R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The War Eagles record now stands at 0-7.
