Illinois High School Volleyball - Buffalo Grove edged by Hoffman Estates
September 7, 2023: Buffalo Grove, IL 60089 The Hoffman Estates Hawks held off the host Buffalo Grove Bison volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet Catholic for a non-league test on Friday, September 8. Hoffman Estates will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 2-0 league win over Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 8-2.
The Bison (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL). The Patriots enter the non-league test with a 10-3 record. In their last test, Stevenson held off Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
