September 7, 2023: Marks, MS 38646 The Palmer Dragons volleyball team (Marks, MS), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS)
The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS). The Jaguars enter the Class 5 Region 3 challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Holmes County Central was dropped by J.Z. George (North Carrollton, MS), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Dragons meet the East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) in a Class 2 Region 1 challenge, on Monday, September 11. Palmer will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record.
