The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Rootstown Rovers (Rootstown, OH) and the visiting John F. Kennedy Catholic Eagles (Warren, OH), saw Rootstown's volleyball squad beat John F. Kennedy Catholic by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Rootstown upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Rovers travel to Southeast (Ravenna, OH) to play the Pirates in a Portage Trail - County bout on Tuesday, September 12.
