September 7, 2023: Covington, GA 30014 The Newton Rams volleyball team (Covington, GA), went down 2-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA)
The Mustangs (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Alcovy (Covington, GA). The Tigers enter the 6A Area 3 challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Alcovy went down by Ola (McDonough, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams encounter the Brookwood Broncos (Snellville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Newton will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Broncos enter the challenge with a 22-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Marist (Atlanta, GA).
