August 31, 2023: Conyers, GA 30012 The Rockdale County Bulldogs (Conyers, GA) volleyball overcame the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, Rockdale County upgrades its record to 7-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Woodward Academy (College Park, GA) to face the War Eagles in a 6A Area 3 outing on Wednesday, September 6. The War Eagles go into the outing with a record of 7-6. Woodward Academy won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA)
The Rams now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Morrow for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 7. Newton will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Clayton (College Park, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 12-2.
