West Virginia High School Volleyball - Sissonville Winfield
September 7, 2023: Winfield, WV 25213 The Winfield Generals topped the visiting Sissonville Indians volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's league test.
The Generals now have a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Philip Barbour for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Winfield will confront a Colts team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Fort Frye (Beverly, OH). The Colts record now stands at 7-1.
The Indians (0-12) will now prepare for their test against Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Wildcats enter the Cardinal test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Nitro was knocked off by Buffalo (Buffalo, WV), 2-0, in a non-league test.
