The Symmes Valley Vikings felled the host River Valley Raiders football team by a score of 27-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings face the South Point Pointers (South Point, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 13. Symmes Valley will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Pointers go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 35-13 non-league loss to Russell (Russell, KY).

The Raiders (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH). The Buckeyes go into the Tri-Valley - Ohio challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Nelsonville-York thwarted Liberty Union (Baltimore, OH), 33-0, in a non-league match.
