The Trojans now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Roswell for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 10. Mayfield will encounter a Coyotes squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Coyotes record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Carlsbad moves to 2-6 on the year. The Cavemen/cavegirls travel to Goddard (Roswell, NM) to encounter the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 10.
