Oklahoma High School Softball - Strother edges Wetumka
September 7, 2024: Seminole, OK 74868 The Strother Yellowjackets softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Wetumka Chieftains to 9 in the Yellowjackets league win on Saturday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowlegs for a Class A battle on Monday, September 9. Strother will confront a Bison team coming off a 16-2 league loss to Strother (Seminole, OK). The Bison record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Wetumka moves to 2-13 on the season. The Chieftains travel to New Lima (New Lima, OK) to confront the Falcons in a Class A battle on Monday, September 9. The Falcons come into the battle with a record of 8-10.
