In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting St. Thomas More Sabers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Centennial Chargers.

The Sabers (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Maroons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Champaign Central edged Mahomet-Seymour (Mahomet, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
