September 7, 2024: Clarinda, IA 51632 The Clarinda Cardinals (Clarinda, IA) volleyball held off the visiting Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA), 2-1 in Saturday's league bout.
The Cardinals now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Denison-Schleswig for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 10. Clarinda will clash with a Monarchs team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Harlan (Harlan, IA). The Monarchs record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Tri-Center drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Trojans host Audubon (Audubon, IA) to clash with the Wheelers in a bout on Thursday, September 12. The Wheelers come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Audubon won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Glidden-Ralston (Glidden, IA)
