September 7, 2024: Denver, IA 50622 Denver Cyclones (Denver, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Denver improves its record to 12-1 on the season. The Cyclones host Turkey Valley (Jackson Junction, IA) to face the Trojans in a test on Saturday, September 7. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 1-1. Turkey Valley won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA)
The Dons now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Winneshiek for a test on Saturday, September 7. Don Bosco will face a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Waukon (Waukon, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.
